The Walt Disney Company proudly celebrated the opening of Shanghai Disney Resort, the first Disney park and resort in Mainland China, on June 16, 2016. The first-of-its-kind resort reflects Disney’s 60-year history of innovation, creativity and storytelling, in a way that is authentically Disney and distinctly Chinese.
