Disney and ABC Partner with Feeding America to Launch Season of Service Campaign

There’s so much to celebrate during the holidays, but to many around the world, the most special thing about the season is giving back. Whether it’s sharing much-needed food with families facing hunger or lending a helping hand, Disney is kicking off the most wonderful time of the year by paying it forward.

Earlier this month, we launched Disney|ABC’s Season of Service campaign, which includes a $750,000 donation to Feeding America, the nation’s leading domestic hunger-relief charity. We caught the excitement of the announcement on the popular daytime program The Chew, when host Daphne Oz revealed the check to viewers and the audience in a recent episode.

As Daphne mentioned, you can make a contribution to Feeding America this month and watch that total grow. Disney will match your gift, dollar for dollar—up to $250,000—to help Feeding America’s goal of providing 40 million pounds of produce to families in need.

Together, we can brighten this season by filling pantry shelves, after-school programs and soup kitchens across the country with fruits and vegetables, so that families in America will have enough to eat during the holidays and all year long.
