Did you catch the reveal of the Dancing with the Stars talent on Good Morning America this week? On Monday, September 16, a stellar lineup of stars — including sitcom legend Elizabeth Berkley Lauren, reality mega-star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, football champion Keyshawn Johnson and High School Musical’s Corbin Bleu — will perform for the first time on live national television with their professional partners during the two-hour season premiere of hit competition on ABC. And speaking of Good Morning America, the show ranked No. 1 for every week in Total Viewers this past year, earning its longest stretch at the top spot in more than 21 years—since before the 1991–92 season. A big congratulations to Robin, Josh, Lara, Sam, George and the entire crew!
I’m so excited to see Saving Mr. Banks when it hits theaters this December, but we received an exciting update from The Walt Disney Studios this week— the upcoming film will open AFI FEST 2013, presented by Audi, on Thursday, November 7. Saving Mr. Banks, which will have its North American premiere at the festival, stars Academy Award®-winning actress Emma Thompson and Academy Award-winner Tom Hanks, both of whom will be in attendance at the Opening Night Gala, along with director John Lee Hancock and other stars from the film.
