30 Disney VoluntEARS Participate in Disney’s First-Ever Global Service Project

For the past 30 years, the Disney VoluntEARS program has made a difference in countless communities around the world. From Los Angeles and Mexico City to Shanghai, Paris and just about every where in between, thousands of our employees have rolled up their sleeves to beautify our planet, mentor kids and serve meals to the hungry, among many other worthy projects.

To celebrate Disney VoluntEARS’ special anniversary this year, 30 Disney employees are getting their passports ready for a one-of-a-kind adventure—one that’ll give them the opportunity to make a huge impact outside of their own communities and workplaces.

Their final destination: Ecuador for Disney’s first-ever Global Service Project. Next week, these dedicated VoluntEARS will join together to help build a much-needed classroom in the region, as well as improve access to education for local students. Ten countries will be represented during this project, including Argentina, the UK, India and Japan.

I can’t wait to share the group’s progress with you all once the project is complete. What a way to kick off the month in which we give thanks!
